Adolescent In China, young people between the ages of 10 and 24 constitute one-sixth of China¡¯s population of 1.3 billion and two-thirds of the 140 million migrant workers.
This group is threatened by the consequences of its own sexual and reproductive behaviors and is increasingly at risk for HIV/AIDS. Despite evidence of growing demand, the existing policy and mechanism for providing reproductive health information, counseling, and services to unmarried youth are not comprehensive and adequate. |
